Most expensive celebrity homes in India

Most expensive celebrity homes in India From Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan, these celebrity homes, dotted along Mumbai's glittering coastline, are the most expensive in Bollywood, some of which are priced over ₹100 crores

Bollywood stars make some of their substantial investments in real estate, which includes properties within the county as well as abroad. Here, we take a look at celebrity homes that are the prized jewels of their respective real estate portfolios and what goes into the valuation of these properties.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Pali Hill Residence

This Bollywood power couple needs no introduction—Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were superstars in their own regard long before they tied the knot in 2022. Like many Bollywood stars, their primary residence is located in the upscale neighbourhood of Bandra in Mumbai. Their home is located in Pali Hill, and is known as the ‘Krishna Raj’ bungalow, named after Kapoor’s grandparents—Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor. The bungalow has been reconstructed, built on the same plot of land owned by the Kapoor family. According to the Hindustan Times Real Estate experts estimate that this lavish bungalow can be valued at anywhere between INR 350-400 crores.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Neoclassical Mansion in Bandra

Mannat is the name of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic mansion located in Bandra. Sprawled across approximately 20,000 square feet, this residence is now an iconic fixture of the Bandra landscape, drawing in thousands of visitors who hope to get a glimpse of the star. The building has a striking neoclassical facade, with interiors done by none other than Gauri Khan. Shah Rukh Khan bought this house in 2001 for INR 13 crore, and experts have speculated that if he were to sell it in today’s market, it could easily be valued at INR 200 crore; owing to its prime location and celebrity association.

Sonam Kapoor's Lush Delhi Home On Prithviraj Road

There are very few people who possess Sonam Kapoor’s eye for details and craftsmanship. All of her homes reflect a distinct sense of maximalism, whether it be her London apartment, Mumbai home, or Delhi bungalow. Of these three properties, the Delhi bungalow—located on Prithviraj Road—is certainly the largest and most expensive, reportedly valued at INR 173 crores. With sprawling green lawns and ample green corners, the home is a veritable haven within the capital city, illuminated by natural light and adorned with heirloom items.

Amitabh Bachchan's Palatial Mansion in Juhu

Much like Mannat, Amitabh Bachchan’s home in Juhu has also been elevated to the status of an iconic landmark of Mumbai. The bungalow, named Jalsa, has now served as the Bachchan family home for over three decades. Amitabh Bachchan was gifted this home by director Ramesh Sippy as remuneration for his role in the iconic film Satte pe Satta. Today, experts estimate that the home can be valued at anywhere between INR 100 to 120 crore. The interiors of the home are decadent, and filled with an enviable art collection built up over the years. Jalsa also holds a special sentimental value for Bachchan, as it is the place where he has seen his children grow up, and is now also a place for his grandchildren to grow up.
Like many stars on this list, Hrithik Roshan’s home in Juhu opens to expansive views of the sea, but unlike others, he brings nautical inspirations into the decor of his home in the form of deep Indigo accents and decor items that resemble a ship and its navigation tools. The home has been created by merging two separate apartments that spanned the 14th, 15th, and 16th floor of the building—and is worth approximately INR 100 crore. The space has been curated to reflect the star’s personality with the help of designer Ashiesh Shah. Other interesting features of the house include an extensively furnished den and entertainment room with a fully functioning vending machine

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Impressive Quadruplex In Bandra

In 2022, this Bollywood power couple acquired a sea-facing quadruplex in Bandra Bandstand for a staggering price of INR 119 crores. The home is spread across the 16th to 19th floors of the Sagar Resham housing society, created by Nagpal Developers. The home spans a total area of 11,266 square feet spread across all four floors, and is accompanied by 1,300 square feet of terrace space that overlooks panoramic views of the Arabian Sea—a rare luxury in a city like Mumbai. Later in 2024, Padukone purchased another apartment on the 15th floor of the same building for INR 17.8 crores, as reported by Hindustan Times. The property has recently finished development, with families already moving in.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's Classical Home

Known for her illustrious acting career, and more recently as the restaurateur at the helm of Bastian, Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra’s home in Juhu is a study in the classical hallmarks of luxury, and is estimated to be valued at around INR 100 crore. The home is an expansive duplex with a striking black door that features gold lotus carvings. The entrance is also flanked by two silver elephant statues. Inside, the interiors are opulent with clearly demarcated formal and informal zones. The second floor takes inspiration from palatial homes, complete with an indoor fountain set against a glass floor.

Salman Khan's Quiet And Minimal Home

Joining the ranks of celebrity homes that have become landmarks, is Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra West—Galaxy Apartments. He has lived in this apartment with his parents for many years now. Furnished with amenities like a home gym, the space embodies a simple ethos—clean, minimal and practical. Owing to its prime location and celebrity association, experts have valued this home at INR 100 crore
